Over 75% of the Telecom companies listed in the FORTUNE 1,000 have executive offices in the GTA. More than 80 languages are spoken in the GTA providing the area with a multi-cultural labour force that is ideal for global commerce. There are more than 155,000 highly skilled persons employed in Telecom and IT in the GTA. The GTA boasts one of the most highly advanced communication systems, home to four major wire line and four major wireless service providers. The GTA is one of the world's top five R and D centres in North America in the area of Telecommunications. The Canadian Institute of Telecommunications - An accredited international post-secondary institution centrally located in the Greater Toronto Area and specializing in Telecommunications. A CIT education equips students for careers in telecommunications systems design, operations and maintenance, marketing and sales, and research and systems implementation.

Off Campus - CIT will assist students in finding suitable housing and location. The approximate cost is CAD $18,000.00 per year.
