We are a Welder Training facility located in Hamilton, Ontario, that specializes in custom welder training courses for career-orientated individuals, as well as, custom “in-plant” training and consulting programs for companies in the welding industry.

Advanced Welding Techniques Inc.’s unique approach to welder training is based on knowing the needs of industry and developing training programs that meet these needs. We obtain this knowledge by keeping in contact with many companies through our “in-plant” training and consulting programs. Our training programs are designed not only to teach proper welding skills, but also to instill good work ethics into the students enrolled. To accomplish this, we work 8-hour shifts, days and afternoons, 5 days a week. Attendance is mandatory and student progress is closely monitored.

When our students graduate, they not only have quality welder training, but also have a good understanding of what to expect from the industry they have chosen as their field. With our contacts in the business community, we can add additional assistance in job placement after completion of courses.

After successful completion of their training, AWT Inc.’s students can expect a job placement rate of approximately 90%. We achieve this by: -Assisting with resume preparation. -Supplying job lists from various job searches. -Using our industry contacts for job opportunities for the students. -Faxing or e-mailing resumes and correspondence with companies on the students’ behalf. -Ensuring the students have the proper training and skills to be employable in the welding trade in the shortest time possible.
