As one of Canada's oldest registered private career colleges, ADANAC Truck Driver Training Ltd. is an industry leader in training the professional driver. Our college was established in 1981, as well as being a founding member of the Truck Training Schools Association of Ontario. We have always aimed to provide the transportation industry with the highest qualified professionally trained drivers. We ensure our students are trained to the highest possible standards and are able to meet the industry needs as a professional driver.

Areas of Expertise

Our Class A Certified Course (Tractor-Trailer) takes up to five weeks to complete (180 hours). Our Class D Course (Strait truck) takes approximately two weeks to complete. Shorter courses are available for applicants with previous experience. To be eligible for these courses the applicant must pass both a written and a practical test. All students will be trained in-class as well as in-yard and on-road in the proper safe methods of operating a commercial vehicle, which will make them highly employable in today's ever-demanding industry.

Incoming Students

All training is done on both tandem tractors and trailers. We will train you on loaded equipment weighing in excess of 25,000 lbs. Students are trained on more than one gear pattern.

Career Planning

ADANAC also offers free job assistance to students who have obtained their license. We will counsel students on how to present themselves for a job interview with a proper resume. We will deal with many reputable companies and driver services.

Affiliated Institutions

We are registered and bonded by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities. Member associations include the Ontario Trucking Association, the Truck Training Schools Associations of Ontario, the Canadian Trucking Human Resources Council, and the Transportation Health & Safety Association of Ontario.
