The University at Buffalo offers scholarships in varying amounts to qualified incoming international first-year/first-time students. Scholarship awards vary and are renewable with good academic standing. The Flagship Scholarship may be combined with other UB scholarships. Academically exceptional first-year students may earn a four-year UB Presidential Scholarship, the most selective and highly valued award in the SUNY system. The Presidential Scholarship requires a separate application and is available through the University Honors College.

International transfer students are also eligible for transfer student scholarships.
