To be eligibility for a discounted tuition fee participants must reside or work in Ontario and meet ONE of the following criteria:

• Documented proof of 6,000 hours (three years) of welding experience AND hold a valid Canadian Welding Bureau (C.W.B.) or Technical Standards & Safety Authorit(T.S.S.A.) All Position Qualification in any weld process.

• Hold a Certificate of Apprenticeship from any provincial, state or federal government jurisdiction in a trade for which welding is a component, or equivalent as approved by the Ministry.

• Hold a Certificate of Qualification from any provincial, state or federal government jurisdiction in a trade for which welding is a component, or equivalent as approved by the Ministry.
