Requirements for Canadian Students

Students applying to the University of Alaska Anchorage must have a grade point average of at least 2.0 to be eligible for undergraduate admission. Official secondary school transcripts are also required and should be sent directly to Enrollment Services, by the school. Students must also provide proof of English proficiency.

Procedure for Canadian Students

Students applying to the University of Alaska Anchorage must prove to the university and the US consolate that they have enough funding to cover their school and living expenses while in the US. Financial documents should be no more than six months old. These include a letter or statement of support from the student's sponsor guaranteeing financial support and a bank letter or statement showing a sufficient amount of money to support the student for at least one year.
