Requirements for Canadian Students

Applicants require five Alberta 30 level subjects or equivalents including English Language Arts 30-1. Further admission requirements are program specific.

Procedure for Canadian Students

An online application process is available online on the website under "Online Services”. For most undergraduate programs, students must include a $100.00 application fee. Application deadlines by program: BA Drama: May 1. No audition required. BFA Acting: Apply for audition by January 11. Auditions typically take place in February. BFA Technical Theatre Production and Stage Management: April 1. BFA Theatre Design: April 1 Other documentation such as portfolios, reference letters and English language proficiencies may also be required. Please see UofA Department of Drama for program-specific details. Official transcripts are required by June 15 for post-secondary applicants and by August 1 for high school applicants wishing to commence their studies in the fall term.
