Requirements for Canadian Students

Ontario students: 6 Grade 12 U and/or M courses including Any Grade 12 U English (final grade of 70% is required) Recommended courses: at least one Grade 12 U Science or Mathematics course; at least one Grade 12 U course in a second language Admission average: Low 80s A minimum final overall average of 80% or higher is required on your best 6 Grade 12 U and/or M courses, including required courses. Admission averages depend on the number of applications received and the number of spaces available. The range above listed is based on previous years. Procedure for Canadian Students

If you're applying to be a full-time student at Waterloo, you'll apply through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC). The OUAC makes the application process easier because you can use one application to apply to multiple programs or Ontario universities.
