Requirements for Canadian Students

To be considered for admission, students must complete high school with an average (in five subjects) of 70% with no mark below 60%.

Procedure for Canadian Students

Students applying to undergraduate programs must submit an undergraduate application form. You may download an application or apply online on the Web site. Please ensure transcripts and all other supporting documents for the undergraduate application form are sent to the Admissions Office. Be sure to include the $40.00 application fee.

Transfer Students

Students who have been enrolled in an academic program at another university should follow the regular procedure for admission to Saint Mary's through the Admissions Office. In order to be considered admissible, transfer students are normally required to have achieved a minimum average of C. Students who have attended a post-secondary institution outside of Canada will be required to submit course descriptions for courses already completed.

Notes:Accessibility and flexibility are important to our students. We have four semesters to choose from so you can study year round or start your program at different times of the year. The fall semester runs from September to December and the winter from January to April. The first summer semester runs from May to June and the second runs from July to August.
