Requirements for Canadian Students

Five distinct courses at the 4U or 4M level, including one of English 4U (ENG4U) or Studies in Literature (ETS4U). Individual programs may require additional prerequisites in mathematics and science. Visit your program's page to learn more.

Requirements for International Students

Applicants who complete the equivalent of Grade 12 in high school (secondary school) will be considered for admission. At least five (5) senior-level courses must be completed, including the following: English, Three academic courses, and One Elective (Academic or Non-Academic).

Procedure for Canadian Students

Check the admission requirements for your program to identify any additional steps that you may need to take after submitting your application (e.g. submitting a portfolio). Gather the information you’ll need to submit your application online. For undergraduate programs, you need your Alberta Student Number (if you have one), a list of all high schools and post-secondary institutions you have attended and the dates you attended each one, your high school marks (if you have never attended post-secondary), and a credit card to pay the application fee; If you require a different method of payment, you will need to use the paper application (instruction sheet). The University of Lethbridge is accepting applications for programs starting in 2024. You can start in Spring, Summer, or Fall!
