Requirements for International Students

Admission to the Nova Scotia International Student Program is considered once the following documents are received: a non-refundable CDN $100.00 application fee, a completed application form, photo, certified official transcripts, short essay, completed homestay information form and at least one letter of reference.

Procedure for International Students

Notification of acceptance will be made with a letter from the Nova Scotia International Student Program. All international students must attain student authorization. Payment is due in full before arrival.

Notes:The Nova Scotia school year starts in September and runs for ten months ending in June. Major school breaks are in December, March, and the summer holidays (late June to early September).
