Requirements for Canadian Students

Do I need a visa to study at CLC? This depends on where you are from.

Most foreign students will need a study permit to study in Canada. However, if you study for a duration of less than six months you do not need a study permit, or student visa. Remember, though, You MUST complete your chosen course or program within the period authorized for your stay in Canada.

Students from certain countries will require a Temporary Resident Visa to enter Canada. A Temporary Resident Visa is an official document issued by a visa office abroad. It is placed in your passport to show that you have met the requirements for admission to Canada as a temporary resident. To apply for a visa, please contact the Canadian visa centre nearest you. Many visa offices have specific local instructions concerning the documentats you should submit with your application. Requirements for International Students

Minimum age of 18 unless enrolling for the summer youth, group, or high school programs. Consideration may be given to mature students who are 16 or 17 years old.
