Requirements for Canadian Students

All students must bring one of the following documents to the Registration Office at time of registration: Canadian Birth Certificate, Adoption Certificate, Canadian Citizenship Certificate, Marriage Certificate, Student Visa, Canadian Passport, Permanent/Landed Immigrant/Residence Document, or Certificate of Indian Status. Students should meet with a Student Services Advisor prior to registering.

Requirements for International Students

International students must contact our International Admissions Coordinator or hold a current International Student Visa before registering. Students must be at least 18 years old and must also have a basic understanding of English. All students must take an English language assessment test upon arrival at Chinook College.

Notes:Varies with course and program. Chinook Learning Services has over 30,000 learners enrolled in a variety of programs and courses in a single academic year. Over 12,000 of our students are enrolled in high school credit and basic education courses (about 20% of those take their courses online), 15,000 students are participating in our career certificate and general interest courses, and over 3,000 students come to us for high school summer school courses.
