Requirements for Canadian Students

Applicants to NBCC must have, or be in the process of getting, a High School Diploma or equivalent. Applicants need to successfully complete, or be in the process of completing, the prerequisite courses according to the admission profile for your chosen program (refer to the "Admission Requirements" section for each program). Each applicant needs to meet the college's English Language Proficiency Requirements. Requirements for International Students

Please see 'Requirements for Canadian Students'. We want our students to be able to fully participate in all NBCC educational activities. Therefore, you must be able to demonstrate adequate competence in English. Please see our website for more information on English language requirements, at http://nbcc.ca/future-students/language-requirements.

Procedure for Canadian Students

Applying online is the easiest and fastest way to get us your application, at http://nbcc.ca/future-students/how-to-apply.

When applying by mail, please ensure you enclose or forward the following documents: an official high school transcript (mandatory) in the language in which they were produced. Please include a copy translated into English, college and university transcripts (optional), if available. You may wish to include a letter of reference of related employment indicating duration and type of employment (if applicable). Send the documents and an application fee of $50 (Canadian) to the address on the application form.

We will be able to process your application once we have received all necessary documents. We will send you a letter of acknowledgement, indicating which documents, if any, are missing. Following the evaluation of your application, you will be advised of the decision.
