Requirements for Canadian Students

To register for a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC), students must have completed a high school diploma or its equivalent.

To register for an Attestation of Collegial Studies (AEC), applicants must be 18 or over and have interrupted their studies for at least one full school year.

Required Documents:

  • Birth certificate or proof of citizenship.
  • High school diploma and transcript.
  • Official transcript of post-secondary studies, if applicable.
  • Proof of residence, if Quebec resident.
  • Working resume (CV) for AEC programs.

Requirements for International Students

To register for a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC), students must have completed a high school diploma or its equivalent. To register for an Attestation of Collegial Studies (AEC), applicants must be 18 or over and have interrupted their studies for at least one full school year. International students also require proof of proper authorization (student visa) by Canadian Immigration authorities. Required Documents: - Appropriate student visa or other document from Immigration Canada. - Birth certificate or proof of citizenship. - High school diploma and transcript. - Official transcript of post-secondary studies, if applicable. - Passport.

Send the most recent official academic transcripts, including an official copy of any diplomas or certificates received from any universities, colleges, and high schools.

Include proper admission fees (payment can be made online).

Procedure for International Students

Students who register in a program for a period of less than 6 months can come and study in Canada on a tourist visa. You do need a study permit if you are planning to take a course or program in Canada with duration of six months or more. Since Canada has two levels of Government, Federal and Provincial, foreign students who wish to study in the Province of Quebec must first obtain a Quebec Certificate of Acceptance (CAQ). When applying, please send: - A fully completed application form. - Send the most recent official academic transcripts, including an official copy of any diplomas or certificates received from any universities, colleges, and high schools. - Applicable admission fees. This procedure can be completed online at www.clasalle.com.

Winter Session: Beginning of January.

Fall Session: End of August for regular programs and end of July for intensive programs.

Students joining the fall intensive programs will begin their studies in late July while regular program students will begin in late August.

Students starting their studies in the winter (January) will be required to attend their second session during the summer.
