Your 7E is needed to legally practice driving with the Instructor on the roadways. New Brunswick residents are able to have this procedure completed before their start date. Out-of-province residents will have to wait until they arrive in New Brunswick and start their program. Your Driver's Abstract can be obtained from your local Motor Vehicle Branch. The charge for requesting an abstract is approximately $10.00. Employers will request a seven-year abstract. If you have not yet been driving for seven years, go back to the beginning of your licensed experience. Students may be required to undergo a criminal search.
