Awards of $5,000 (to be used for tuition only) will be presented to each of five (5) full-time Graduate student(s) at an accredited Canadian university or college with the following criteria:
  • Be registered full-time in a graduate program at an accredited Canadian university or college
  • Have a GPA of 3.5+. See Terms and Conditions for additional requirements
  • Students must be Canadian citizens or have permanent residence status
  • Online application and supporting documentation submitted by the Monday, June 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET deadline (late applications will not be considered)
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities through various means such as volunteer community service.
  • Exhibits passion in their field of study. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate special interest in Italian heritage and culture as part of their program of study, such as through a co-op, internship, and/or an applied research project.
  • Written short questions on leadership experience, volunteerism and the impact it has had on your community, education/career aspirations, the impact receiving a scholarship would have. Answers should show examples and/or describe how you share values that align with Villa Charities' mission — to enrich lives through experiences and services that honour Italian culture and heritage.
The Villa Charities Scholarship Program is available to students of all backgrounds and faiths, who believe in and will help further Villa Charities' mission to enrich lives through experiences and services that honour Italian culture and heritage.
