Are you thinking of an accounting career but are also interested in finance and investments? The BCIT Finance diploma program offers you unique, practical training for a solid foundation in accounting, economics, finance, and investing principles. All the courses in this program are designed to teach you to the necessary skills and confidence to help you pursue a career in finance while preparing you for accelerated study to become an accountant.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.

Additional Admission Requirements:
    Part-time students considering applying to the Finance diploma are strongly advised to begin their studies by completing the Certificate in Finance. The content covered in the program helps provide the knowledge skillset for students to excel in the diploma program. Upon completion of the certificate program, students are then recommended to continue their studies towards the Finance diploma program. Previous full-time students, who have successfully completed Level 1, considering completing the Finance diploma through Part-time Studies, are advised to complete the Certificate in Finance. Upon completion of the certificate program, students are then recommended to continue their studies towards the Finance diploma program. Previous full-time students, who have successfully completed Level 1 and Level 2, considering completing the Finance diploma through Part-time Studies, are advised to apply through the Part-time Program Declaration process.
