Description:

This is an integrated master’s four year health and social care degree. The course is designed to combine both undergraduate and postgraduate study into a single degree to equip you with the necessary skills, abilities and knowledge to meet the rapidly expanding and changing environment in health and social care.

Throughout the course you’ll be taught different aspects of health and social care, from looking at how to assess needs to being introduced to law, social policy, assessment and care planning. You’ll explore your own values in relation to working with diverse groups, and engage in becoming a reflective practitioner. Leadership and management, international perspectives and personal and professional development are key themes which run throughout the four years of the course.
