Description:

Learn to teach all subject areas in the elementary and middle school curricula: Kindergarten to Grade 8, including Core French. While the particular theme or approach varies in each cohort, the courses are the same for all teacher candidates, with each cohort and instructor tailoring the courses in unique ways.




UBC’s BEd degree is globally recognized, and open to international students. The Elementary and Middle Years option prepares pre-service educators for the varied contexts in elementary and middle schools with a special emphasis on self-regulated learning for teaching students aged 11 to 14 years.
