Description:

The electronic communication and navigation system is the heart of all aircraft. They are vital to the safety and success of all flights, no matter the journey or destination. Specializing in repairing and maintaining these systems is a vital piece of the aviation industry that produces rewarding and in-demand careers. With the Transport Canada approved Aviation Technician - Avionics Maintenance program, you'll learn to become a vital and specialized member of the aviation team. You'll learn about all aspects of aircraft avionics systems used in general aviation, corporate, charter transport category aircraft, and helicopters. Along with developing cutting-edge computer and electronic systems skills, you'll also study aerodynamics, safety and flight control systems. As well, with aircraft constantly evolving and improving, you'll have opportunities to adapt and upgrade your skills and you progress through the program, embarking on a life-long learning journey.
