Description:

Students who choose the adolescence education major will be qualified to teach specific content in grades 7-12. This program is recommended for those who have a passion for a specific subject and are interested in teaching high school students.

Upon successful completion of the program students will earn initial teacher certification in the State of New York for adolescence education (grades 7-12) in the specific content area of their program (i.e., English, math, biology, chemistry, social studies, French, or Spanish).
