Description:

The Doctoral program in foreign and second language education provides a comprehensive background in theory, practice, and research for those who aspire to academic appointments in universities or colleges, or leadership roles in school systems. Graduates of LAI's doctoral programs are prepared for research, teaching, and administrative posts in colleges and universities and for positions of educational leadership in the schools or in state education departments. Programs consist of a minimum of 72 credit hours of study beyond the baccalaureate degree and culminate in a dissertation.
