As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in diverse settings, from hospitals to community pharmacies.
In this program, you will learn the skills required to perform vital functions to support patient care and health maintenance efforts of the pharmacy team, including processing and preparing prescriptions, organizing inventory, processing insurance claims and much more. |

- Grade11 Chemistry
- Grade12 English
- Grade12 Pure Mathematics or Grade12 Mathematics
Students applying to the Pharmacy Technician program must have: - High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 60% in each of:
- Biology 30
- Chemistry 30
- ELA 30-1 or ELA 30-2
- Mathematics 30-1 or Mathematics 30-2
OR - Successful completion of a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree.
Students entering the program are expected to possess basic math skills that include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, conversion of fractions, percentages, decimals, ratios, and the ability to perform other related calculations. |
