Description:

The BA (Hons) Sociology at UEL provides students with a deeper understanding of some of the most urgent social issues today, including: racism, migration, poverty, gender, inequality and identity.

Our aim is to prepare our students for a broad range of careers, so that they can make amazing contributions to their communities. Many of our graduates successfully progress to careers or postgraduate training in: social work, teaching, criminal justice, journalism and research.

Our students are our first priority. We work hard to ensure that our students get the support they need to succeed. This means that all of our students benefit from close, one-to-one support with a member of staff throughout their degree.

Remember, because there are no general education courses, you can earn a bachelor's degree in only 3 years at UEL.
