Description:

The Sprott Shaw College Business Fundamentals diploma program is designed to provide the essential skills necessary to work in an office environment. This program is well suited for an individual that is looking for the shortest training to develop the core set of skills necessary to work in an office environment. People entering this program often have experience in another field or are entering the workforce for the first time. Business Fundamentals graduates are able to: productively use MS Office including Word and Excel, communicate effectively using various communication channels, provide professional and efficient customer service, and perform accounting activities and analyze financial statements.

People planning to work in this competitive field require strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Those who have developed skills in these areas will be better prepared to compete for jobs. With additional experience or training, progression to management positions is possible.
