To understand and resolve most issues facing the world today, a foundation in the sciences is a strength. 

The Associate of Science degree offers maximum flexibility, allowing you to take a broad range of science courses.  

You’ll also get an introduction to the arts, taking up to 18 credits in English and arts electives. 

Our multidisciplinary and laboratory-intensive curriculum emphasizes both the academic and applied skill sets you need to succeed, particularly in the growing fields of green, health, and applied sciences. 

You can also ladder your credits into the Bachelor of Science (General) degree program to continue your studies at CapU.

    High School Requirements 

    • High school graduation 
    • A minimum grade point average of 2.0 (60%) calculated on English Studies 12 or English 12 or English First Peoples 12 and two academic Grade 12 courses 

    Current high school students 

    Grade 12 students can apply for conditional admission based on their final Grade 11 and/or interim Grade 12 marks by uploading their most recent grades (e.g., unofficial transcript or a report card) through EducationPlannerBC. Final admission depends on high school graduation and meeting the specific requirements of the program. 

    Note: Applicants from B.C high schools must release their grades to CapU via the BC Ministry of Education at Student Transcripts Services (STS) as soon as possible.
