| This two-year diploma program is designed for students who wish to acquire a general education in the arts and sciences. Students will acquire skills in communication, critical thinking, and personal understanding. Students will have the opportunity to discover career opportunities and explore career interests. The program is intended to allow students to explore options that meet future academic goals. Courses may be eligible for credit transfer at the University of Waterloo (courses are subject to availability). After successful completion of this program, students may wish to apply to programs within Conestoga College or pursue further education at other institutions. |

Applicants must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, OR 19 years of age or older with mature student status (See Mature Student definition for details.), and Grade 12 compulsory English, C or U, or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Communications (COMM1270). |
