The built environment is becoming increasingly important as more people are moving to towns and cities. Managing, planning and implementing the development and regeneration of cities is now high on corporate and government agendas in the UK and abroad. As a result, there are tremendous opportunities for skilled professionals who can promote and manage property development, while understanding urban policy and planning procedures.

On this flexible BA(Hons)/MPlan Property Development and Planning degree, there's the option to study towards professional status in surveying and planning. You will develop a solid understanding of the concepts and requirements of urban planning and sustainable development. You will study the legal system and economic forces and their impact on planning and creating healthy, sustainable communities. This is while learning about property valuation, landlord and tenant law and building construction.
