This course offers students the opportunity to gain a professional qualification in Social Work, which entitles them to apply for professional registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (from August 2012). The underlying philosophy of the programme is the integration of research, theory and practice leading to skilled, knowledgeable and capable social work practitioners. Successful completion of the programme will provide you with a solid academic and professional base from which to enter employment.
