Description:

The MBiol degree is a flexible, integrated four-year undergraduate Masters course which allows you to combine a balanced understanding of key concepts in the biological sciences with a deeper understanding of aspects of the discipline that interest you most. You will develop the ability to adapt and apply methodologies to solve biological problems, along with a critical awareness of advances at the forefront of the science. A significant element of the course is the Masters level project that provides the opportunity to pursue an extended piece of original research, independently or in cooperation with an external organisation. Opportunities for field-based study and research are another key feature of the programme: currently we offer opportunities for fieldwork in Portugal, Canary Isles, Tanzania and Kenya as well as in the UK.
