Like its counterpart BA, a bachelor of science degree can be a diverse education in more than one science, or in a specific science. At the U of A, for example, you may take a major and a minor. This may be the launch of your career in research, consulting and other scientific endeavors. Or, your BSc may be to fulfill the requirements for another area of study such as pharmacy, medicine, or dentistry.
