This course brings together the two complementary disciplines of mathematics and computer science to offer you the latest knowledge and skills in computing alongside a solid foundation in mathematical and statistical techniques.
In your first two years, you’ll develop skills across a broad range of mathematical and computer science areas, specialising in the final year through optional modules and a substantial research project. You’ll also develop important transferable skills such as problem solving, data analysis, presentation and effective communication. In addition, you’ll have the option of a work-based placement year in industry or study abroad at one of our partner institutions, enabling you to develop additional personal and professional skills. |
