Description:

If you’re excited by the creative potential that working with textiles can open up and you’d like to develop your craftsmanship, this course could help you build your skills. We’ll look at creative development and thinking, and explore a range of traditional and future materials too.

With a grounding in craftsmanship, the Textile Practice (Textile Crafts and Art) BA/BSc(Hons) aims to develop your craft skills through creative development, making and thinking. We’ll look at a range of traditional and contemporary materials, and give you the chance to get creative in a variety of different ways. Cloth, craft design, artefacts, education and textile art, you can explore lots of different ways to be creative.
