Prerequisites:*

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.

Admission to Honours is very competitive (only 15 new Honours students are admitted each year). As a minimum requirement, admission to the Honours program requires at least a 76% average in the second year and at least 80% in each of PSYC 217 and 218 (BA Majors) or 80% in PSYC 260 (BSc Majors). Meeting the minimum required GPA standards does not guarantee admission to the Honours program. The Honours Committee in the Department of Psychology selects students for admission based on overall academic record and suitability for the program.

To apply for UBC Science Co-op, you must have a minimum average of around B- and be a full-time UBC (Vancouver) student in good academic standing. Please ensure that you have reviewed the programs page for all information related to your discipline before applying.
