If you're looking to understand and be innovative in sport at community and national level then this programme is for you. You'll support and motivate others to enjoy and improve their sporting abilities. You'll become an innovative coach or sports development lead working alongside experienced professionals via placements throughout the course.
The majority of learning is practical. You'll also take part in group work, reflective portfolios, presentations, academic posters and academic writing tasks.Work experience is central to the programme. You'll spend a considerable amount of time working with experienced professionals in the local sporting community. We have close links with local sports clubs and businesses, and will work with you to find placement opportunities that match your interests.
