Almost three-quarters of our planet is covered in water. Whether in oceans and seas, estuaries, fjords, lakes, ponds or rivers, marine habitats host a vast array of animal life – from the smallest single-celled plankton to the largest animal on Earth, the blue whale, from freshwater fish like cichlids to tropical species like lionfish.
This BSc (Hons) Zoology with Marine Zoology gives you a thorough grounding in general zoology: the diversity of form, function, behaviour, evolution, ecology, development and morphology of all the major animal groups. As the degree progresses, you can focus on specialist topics, such as marine mammal science, marine and fish physiology, or marine conservation. |
