|Music plays an important role in our worship and service to God and his church. Redeemer’s Worship in Music program emphasizes faith formation and deepening of the musical dimension of worship.
Right from the start, you will gain an understanding of the role of music in worship as you study a wide selection of musical literature, the principal eras, genres, and cultural sources—including and especially worship music, from past to present, in its many genres. Through hands-on learning and practice, you'll gain the ability to articulate biblical and theological foundations for music in faith, church communities and life with opportunities to design worship services as you consider the role of music, liturgy. teaching, scripture and prayer.
