Description:

Health Sciences is an interdisciplinary approach which examines health, illness, and disease in human communities. While Health Sciences builds upon the basic sciences, it also draws from research-oriented fields such as psychology and economics. Students may pursue the Arts or Science stream, resulting in a Diploma or an Associate Degree. After completing the program, students may continue their studies at SFU's Faculty of Health Sciences transferring seamlessly into third year studies.

    Applicants are required to have successfully completed a BC secondary program (Grade 12) or the equivalent, or be at least 19 years of age by the first day of the first semester of attendance, or have successfully completed an A.B.E. (Adult Basic Education) or G.E.D. (General Educational Development) program.
