Description: | Laurier’s North American Studies program is the first of its kind in Ontario. It’s an interdisciplinary program, exploring the extent to which we can consider North America – including Canada, the United States, and Mexico – as a distinct historical, cultural, political, and economic entity. If you choose Laurier's North American Studies combination program, we offer courses that focus on any of the four key areas of emphasis: business and economy, culture and identity, public policy, and Indigenous Peoples.
You are encouraged to take elective courses in our History, Geography, English, Film Studies, Political Science, and Languages programs and will be given the opportunity to study at partner universities in the U.S. and Mexico. |
