Description:

This diploma program is designed to provide the theory and practical skills essential to begin an exciting career as a Dental Hygienist. Courses in this diploma program provide instruction in the process model of care which consist of preparation, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Each client’s treatment procedures are individually designed and performed taking into consideration of the short-term and long term goals as well as the continued care of the client.

Applicants must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma, or equivalent, or minimum 70% on Stafford Entrance Exam: English/Mathematics/Biology/Chemistry
Test Scores:
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Computer Based) or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based)
Additional Admission Requirements:
    Personal Interview with dental hygiene director or faculty member
    Personal Essay
    CPR / First Aid Certificate/Criminal Background Check/Medical Report
