Description:

There are several research laboratories, including separate rooms for organic synthesis, radiopharmaceutical chemistry, natural products chemistry, and cell culture, in addition to advance formulation and pharmacology labs. All offices and research laboratories in the HSC are connected as a part of the MUNet, a high-speed network linking the campus with the world. The School of Pharmacy provides students with the opportunity to conduct original research related to the discovery, delivery, disposition, action, toxicity and utilization of drugs. It includes disciplines that are unique to pharmacy (e.g., pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry, physical pharmacy, pharmacokinetics, radiopharmacy, clinical pharmacy) and multi-disciplinary areas such as pharmacology, and pharmacoepidemiology.
