Description:

For persons interested in pursuing a career in business law or in senior management in the private sector, there is no better combination than these two degrees. The Faculty of Law and the Telfer School of Management are pleased to offer this joint program to students who already have work experience or who achieve exceptional results while in law school.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    To be considered for the MBA-JD program you must first be admitted into the JD program and apply for the MBA program in your first year of JD by the application deadline of May 15th. Upon meeting the academic requirements for your first year, students admitted into the joint program will complete the 45 units of the one-year full-time MBA-intensive program. During the third and fourth years of the MBA-JD program, students must take all remaining courses necessary to meet the JD degree requirements. Graduates will receive both the JD degree from the Faculty of Law and the MBA degree from the Telfer School of Management once the requirements of both programs are fulfilled.
