This program focuses on the intellectual development of graduate students within the field of aerospace engineering. Students will further develop critical and independent thinking throughout the wide spectrum of graduate courses offered. Located in the George Vari Engineering and Computing Centre, a state-of-the-art building in the heart of downtown Toronto, the Department of Aerospace Engineering has garnered an esteemed reputation, due in part to its partnerships with industry, and its contribution to the development of strategic plans for promoting the growth of the aerospace industry on provincial, national and international levels.

    Completion of a 4-year bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or a related field. Minimum GPA or equivalent of 3.33/4.33 (B+) in the last two years of study
    Test Scores:
    • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 93] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 7] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 70]
    Application Notes : If you have not completed two or more years, full-time, at a Canadian university or a university at which English was the primary language of instruction, or have not completed a graduate degree at a university where English was the primary language of instruction, you will be required to provide certification of English language proficiency through one of the accepted examinations listed below. Scores are valid for two years from the test date.

    It is important to understand that meeting the minimum English proficiency requirements does not guarantee admission. Programs may set additional requirements to these minimum standards.

    For exemption from this requirement, applicants are required to provide an official statement from their institutions Registrar's office confirming the use of English as the Medium of Instruction for the duration of their study.

    The program admits graduates with a bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, a related Engineering field or Applied Science discipline from a recognized institution, with a minimum grade point average (GPA) or equivalent of 3.00/4.33 (B) for MEng and 3.33/4.33 (B+) for MASc in the last two years of study.
