Since it was established in 1996, Adult Ballet at NBS has become one of the most popular recreational ballet programs in the Greater Toronto Area. Exceptional instruction, live piano accompaniment, state-of-the-art facilities and personal attention are the hallmarks of this program, which caters to adults of all ages and levels.
Adult Ballet draws on the same teaching theories and evolving practices as are applied in NBS’ well-established full- and part-time training programs. Offering seven progressive levels of instruction, the program allows students to advance at their own pace through a carefully constructed program of increasingly complex exercises, allowing students ample time for learning that is both comprehensive and meaningful. The experience and dedication of NBS’ instructors, all with pedagogical training, continue to be sources of inspiration for the current students and help new students enter the program with confidence and enjoyment.
Currently offering over 30 classes each week, NBS’ Adult Ballet program has more than 700 students enrolled in it. |
