This is a unique opportunity to join a world class team of academics in a multidisciplinary taught masters. Located in Dublin, UCD is Ireland’s largest university. The nanobio-science course is a demanding one and competition for places will be intense. Academic excellence and a willingness to work in an interdisciplinary environment are prerequisites. Successful candidates will receive expert teaching, carry out a major research project, visit state-of-the-art research laboratories, and discuss their work at an international conference in the USA. The conference is an integral part of the programme and will give exposure to the current state-of-the-art in NanoBio Science research and industry.

Current MSc projects include molecular modelling, imaging and analysis, atomic force microscopy, and sub diffraction-limited optical imaging. Career options include biomedical technologies, pharmaceutical industry and drug development, sustainable energy, academic and industrial research.
