Your degree will be recognised by employers as a leading international business degree and your Chinese language skills will open up more career opportunities. Business modules and Chinese Studies are combined during your four-year degree programme.

You will explore the key areas of business such as: Accounting, Management, Economics, Marketing, Banking and Finance, Management Information Systems, Human Resources Management, and Industrial Relations. This provides you with an excellent foundation in all business areas. At the same time you will take modules in Chinese language, culture and society offered by the UCD-based Irish Centre for Chinese Studies.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    The following courses are required as prerequisites for domestic applicants: Irish, English, a third language, mathematics (minimum B3 LC Ordinary Level/D3 LC Higher Level), and two other recognised subjects.

    Grade 12 Secondary School Diploma: The minimum for consideration is minimum score of C in six subjects, which includes a minimum of B in two subjects, with English and specific programme requirements.
