Description:

Economics studies how people behave in the ordinary business of life. It explores how consumers and business people, public servants and politicians make decisions – how they choose between alternative ways of spending their money and using their skills, energy and time.

Prerequisites:

These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Domestic applicants require passes in six subjects (including two at minimum HC3) including: Irish, English, a third language, and three other recognised subjects.

    Grade 12 Secondary School Diploma: The minimum for consideration is minimum score of C in six subjects, which includes a minimum of B in two subjects, with English and specific programme requirements.
