|Description:||The three-year Business Administration – Marketing program provides the depth and breadth of coverage needed to build a successful marketing career with the very best organizations in Canada and elsewhere.
The first year provides a solid grounding in the fundamentals of business administration while the second year introduces you to major areas of the discipline including Integrated Marketing Communications and Social Media Platforms. In the third year of the program, you are exposed to more advanced areas of study including Business Intelligence and Marketing Strategy Foundation. Through selective internships you will have the opportunity to work with leading companies and fully immerse yourself in the field of marketing practice.
You must also complete two unique marketing internship courses; one at the end of the second year and one at the end of the third year. This strong workplace focus for the program allows graduates to develop the skills, knowledge and networks required for career success.
The Marketing programs at St. Lawrence are recognized leaders in Ontario and Canada. Recently, a student in the program was awarded the prestigious 3M Student Fellowship, read more. St. Lawrence students have excelled at the Ontario Colleges Marketing Competition over the last 22 years. More recently, ENACTUS SLC has garnered local, regional and national awards in a field of over 50 Canadian colleges and universities. Students succeed, in large measure, because top-notch marketing faculty members are all current in their fields. One faculty member has authored three of the most popular marketing texts in Canada. All have significant employment experience in marketing, including a number with national and international experience, and all undertake marketing and management consulting projects on a regular basis.
