If you'd love to immerse yourself in contemporary literature and creative writing, start in the Associate of Arts degree in Creative Writing at CapU. Hone your writing under the guidance of practicing writers, who specialize in poetry and poetics (including digital poetics), the novel, micro-fiction, creative non-fiction, writing for children, ficto-criticism, radio and short film scripts. You'll start your first year by studying multiple genres and branch out in second year to explore poetry, fiction, non-fiction, playwriting and writing for children. High School Requirements - High school graduation
- A minimum grade point average of 2.0 (60%) calculated on English Studies 12 or English 12 or English First Peoples 12 and two academic Grade 12 courses
Current high school students Grade 12 students can apply for conditional admission based on their final Grade 11 and/or interim Grade 12 marks by uploading their most recent grades (e.g., unofficial transcript or a report card) through EducationPlannerBC. Final admission depends on high school graduation and meeting the specific requirements of the program. Note: Applicants from B.C high schools must release their grades to CapU via the BC Ministry of Education at Student Transcripts Services (STS) as soon as possible. |
